Meet the man behind the mosquito net
Kyle Fredrickson
Owner, Forester
Kyle has a Master’s of Science in Forest Management and Ecology. He worked as a tree health technician, treating Emerald Ash Borer, battling fungal pathogens, and many other tree health issues. For over 5 years, he was District Forester at the Aitkin County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Recently, he was hired as the special projects forester at the Aitkin County Land Department. He discovered the first confirmed case of Emerald Ash Borer near Malmo in early 2025. With a love of ash trees, this inspired him to use his knowledge and skills to treat as many ash as he can.
